"ENERGOMONTAZA" company was founded on 22/12/1958 in Prijepolje (Užice) under the name of "Elektro telefonsko montažno preduzeće - ENERGOMONTAŽA".
The company comprised of four OOURs (BASIC ORGANIZATION OF ASSOCIATED LABOUR):

• BOAL for construction of overhead transmission lines "DALEKOVODI"
• BOAL for construction of transformer stations "TES"
• BOAL for construction of telecommunication objects "TEGRAF"
• BOAL for construction of metal equipment "METALAC" and
• Joint Administration, Financial, Law, Commercial and Marketing Department.

Due to increase in scope of activities and extension of business connections, a working unit in Belgrade was established in 1972. The company was transferred to Belgrade in 1978 and it changed its name into Working unit for project designing and construction of energetic and telecommunication objects "ENERGOMONTAŽA", and the BOALs transformed into the working units.

Due to permanent developments in the fields of power energy and telecommunications, the company was forced to follow the current accomplishments, broaden the scope of activities and the number of employees.
At the time of its foundation, the company had 38 employees, but as the business developed and broadened, it grew into one of the biggest companies in the field of power energy and telecommunication in this part of the world.
Today more than 500 engineers, technicians, highly qualified workers and experts of other vocations work for the company.

Quality of the services and products is insured according to JUS ISO 9001: 2001 that has been officially applied since 07/05/2003. The implementation of this standard more precisely defined the commitment of all the participants in the working processes and all the sections in achieving higher services and product quality.

Since its foundation until today, "ENERGOMONTAZA" has developed into a modern company that provides services in the field of project designing, constructing and production providing high quality, all in the name of customers' content and meeting their demands.
